Project

Filmweb Mobile App

A mobile application created from the ground up for one of the world’s largest movie platforms. The goal was to translate the core experience of Filmweb’s website into a native app focused on simplicity, speed, and the most valuable features for everyday users.
Role
UI/UX Designer
Scope
UX research, user flows, wireframes, UI design, usability testing
Collaboration
Close cooperation with development and product teams
Problem
Filmweb’s web platform offered a wide range of features such as ratings, reviews, film discovery, and watchlists, but the experience was complex and not optimized for mobile use. The challenge was to identify and prioritize the most essential user needs and turn them into an app that feels fast, focused, and intuitive. One of the key goals was to make it easy for users to quickly check where a movie is available to watch.
Audience
Movie fans and casual users who want a quick and enjoyable way to browse films,
rate titles, and stay updated on what to watch next.
My Process

From idea to impact, every step is built on clarity and precision. Each project takes shape through thoughtful design and execution. Some call it structure. Others call it the ginger effect.

Discovery
Before design begins, I dive deep into goals, users, and context. Through workshops, research, and flow mapping, I define what truly matters, setting the foundation for solutions that work and scale.
Design
Using Figma, I turn insights into interfaces that feel natural and effortless. Every detail, from layout to interaction, reinforces clarity, consistency, and emotion.
Development
As the project moves into execution, I bring designs to life in Webflow or Framer with a focus on speed, motion, and pixel-perfect precision. The result is functional, scalable, and easy-to-maintain digital experiences.
